Me & My Boys

Hi Everyone,

I have a really cute layout that  I done about me and my boys. This was one day after church. We were hanging out drinking coffee and hot cocoa. If anyone know me, they will tell you that I love to take pictures. I guess that is why I never leave home without my cameras.  Yes, cameras ( you always need a back up just in case the one fails) But anyway, we took these pictures just playing around. I was trying to get a picture of me alone and they kept running in my picture.  My boys are always fussing at me about not having any pictures of them on my blog so today is for them.   So until next time...

Monkey Business Card

Hey You Guys,
I made these two card just because I have been talking to some fellow bloggers about having circuit cartridges that we never use. Well here is one I can take off of my list. I have so many cartridges that I have never used  and so today, I declare that I am going to do my own cartridge exploration and see what I come up with. I might find a lot of things that I can use. So my plan is to maybe explore and make something from each cartridge in my library. Now I not sure how long this will take but I making an effort to start. So until next time...

love-link-up-party-621-to-628.html.gifHey You Guys,
Here is something fun to do help us get to know our fellow scrapbooker.   It the Link Up Love Party host by K Andrew. The link up love party is a way to get to know each other and find new blog inspiration.
*Post your favorite project that you've done in your blog post WITH ONE thing you are grateful for!
*Copy and paste the link up code into your blog post so the Inlinkz will show up on your blog
*Spread the word so everyone can join in!
*You must visit, follow, and comment on the 5 people before you AND the 5 people after you in the Inlinkz.

So here is my favorite project and I have to admit that this was hard for me to choose just one. (LOL) I am truly grateful for my husband being an awesome and mighty Man of God. Always putting the need of our family first and allowing God to guide our path in life.  So until next time...

Cherish These Days

Hello Everyone,

I been MIA for a little while but I am back now. I got my inspiration  today from one of my new follower ( Shen @ My Curious Craft).  You guys know how I love to learn new things. Well here is another awesome card. It is a  Z Fold Card.  I am going to enter it into the Paper Playtime Challenge #48. I really like how this one turned out. I scrapped the first one because it was just okay. And it was not my best work, so I used it to learn how to make the card correctly and then came up with this one.  I left the inside blank for journaling. So I hope you like it. Leave me comment and let me know what you think.  So until next time ...

"Pay It Forward"

Hello Everyone,

I know it be a little  while since my last post but you can rest assure that I will have something great for you. Dusti@ had this great idea and I wanted to share it with you guys. I am so excited to participate and hope you will join in as well.

"Pay It Forward" is the idea of blessing someone with a random act of kindness without expecting anything in return. It’s passing on a kindness, hoping that your recipients will do the same, and forming a never-ending chain of goodwill. But it isn’t only kindness, it is also a means to connect and share instead of just keeping it to ourselves.

"I promise to send an original creation to the (1st) 5 people who leave a comment here. They must, in turn, post this on there blog, and send something they make to the 1st 5 people who comment on their status."

Here's what you need to do:
1. Leave a comment on this post. I will send a handmade gift to the first 5 people who comment.
2. Create a post on your blog offering the same.
3. Send a handmade item to your first 5 people who comment.
4. It must be sent to your 5 people sometime in 2011.
Please do not sign up unless you are fully committed to making your 5 items!

**If you are one of the first 5 people to leave a comment on this post, PLEASE email me your mailing address to ( PLEASE put "PAY IT FORWARD" in the subject line.  Thanks so much!!  I'm excited to Pay It Forward!!**  So until next time ....

Happy Birthday

Side View

Hello Everyone,

I have another quick card for you guys. I made this using paper from my scrap pile.  Yeah I actually used something from the scrap pile. I was really impressed with how this came out. It took me about 30 min to make it. And the hardest part was getting the fold right. Thanks you guys for all your wonderful comments. It really mean a lot to me. So until next time...

Monkey Business

Hey You Guys,
Today I have a project that I made for a school project. We had to make an interactive school bulletin board about an animal at the zoo. So as you can see I chose the spider monkey.  So under each card is a picture of the monkey and a fact about the monkey.  Sorry about the picture quality, I had a hard time yesterday with the camera.  So until next time....

My First Blog Award!!!

I was so honored to received this award my friend  Jazmin at Jazzys Cards. I would like to thank Jazmin for choosing me to pass the beautiful thing to. So here are the rules for the A Thing of Beauty Award:

I must share 5 things about myself (1 of the listed items must be something about crafting) and then pass the award to 5 other blogs.

1.  I love the Lord with all my heart. And as long as I have Him, my hubby/ kids and time to scrap, I don't need nothing else.
2.  My husband supports me in everything that I do. He was the one that encouraged me to start showing my work off.
2.  I am afraid of the Cricut Imagine. (LOL)  I love what it can do but I am a person that do not like to waste anything. So I don't like experimenting with my print cartridge unless I really am going to use whatever I cut out. Isn't that crazy!!
3. I just got my Cricut Expression 2 yesterday!! Yeah!! It took a few weeks to convince my hubby to buy for me. But I finally got.
4. I love staying up to daybreak crafting but sometimes it hard for me to get back on track.  BUT it  is well worth it.
5.  Scrapbooking is like therapy for me. Some people choose medication, alcohol or gambling. I choose to spend time reflecting on my life and how God has continued to bless me over and beyond.

So here are the ladies that I passed the award onto because their work really inspire me:

Lynda @ Lynda's Creative Touches
Faith @ Faith Abigail Designs
Angi @ Angi & Cokie Designs
Tsrel @ It's A Family Affair
Elizabeth @ 217 Creations
