Hi, I am LaKesha. I am married with 4 children. I have only been scrapbooking for about 4 years and I must admit that I absolutely love it. Nothing brings me as much joy as looking back throughout out my life and preserving memories that will last forever. My hubby (Michael) of 14 years , whose my #1 fan, thought that it was about time for me to start showing off some of my creation. So, lets see where it takes us.
Here is another one of my creation. I have another sister whose birthday is coming up. I decide that this one was for her. So I made with her in mind. I was talking with my friend about my daily trips to my favorite place (HOBBY LOBBY)! LOL I think for any paper crafter this would be the case. We always checking on Sunday for the sales to see what new thing we can collect. So she decided that we would call our self professional scrapbook collectors. We are always in the store looking for new stuff and buying just about anything but never really using the things (thousands) we have already. So we both decided that we would give it a attempt to use some of things we have before running out to buy something new. Let see how long we last.
I was at my friend's house (SonJa) a few weekends ago and had the opportunity to fed my belly (a great T-bone steak ) while learning how to a new craft. . While I was there she taught how to make these wonderful little things. c It never crossed my mind to try to make anything like this but after watching her. I was motivated. So I tried my luck. And this is what I came up with. If anyone knows me, they know that I live, breathe and bleed COFFEE (LOL). So I made the large pink one with crowns (fit for a queen of course) for my extra large coffee cups. They other one, I made to go in the family room. So I hope you enjoy or get inspired to get and do something crafty!! I almost forgot, thanks Mr. Miller for that mouth watering T-Bone Steak.
I wanted to introduce the new edition to the Ferry family. Her name is Lady and she is quite the little diva. My hubby surprised with a puppy as a gift for passing my Praxis certification test. After looking for a few weeks, I couldn't decide if I wanted a maltese or a cocker spaniel. After going through a little drama with the cocker spaniel, I decided that I was getting a "purse size" dog. And here she is. Isn't she adorable? I gotta go but have a Scrappy Day!!
Well, I know it been while since my last post but I have something great for you!! My sister's birthday was a few days ago and I decide that I would attempt to make her a card. So instead of doing the same old happy birthday style card, I decide to do something different. She lives in Atlanta and we don't get to see each other often so I decide that "Miss You" would be fitting for this occasion. Although inside I include a small present. So.... until meet again, Have a Scrappy Weekend!!
Today I decide to post the first card I made. I usually scrapbook or make things that I can use in my class. I recently decided to try to make a card. And with the encouragement from a friend, I attempted to make one and this is what I can up with. So until we meet again, have a Scrappy Day!!
I just complete my field experience at Central Intermediate School and I wanted to thank Mrs. Strother for hosting me while I was there. I create this card with her in mind. She is an awesome teacher with a bright and bubbly personality.
